:(

She never knew what happiness was...

socialites

She felt odd everytime she entered bars that she has never been to. She was assured that the guys would be there and she'd be in some good company. She just didn't want to stand there for a period of time looking lost and alone. Waiting for some familiar face.

The doorman looked at her and smiled. He assumed she was of age, which she was and walked in. There were a few people sitting at the bar but she saw the guys playing darts in the back. It was just behind her that she left the social elitists at the bar, some people in leather, some in Saucony sneakers, and a few townies. A few people walked past the restrooms and she caught glimpse of them. They stared and smiled, the fact that she was a permanent scowl but let innocent smiles form. She liked black, as its slimming effect was working in her favor the night.

She bought herself a rum and Coke and sat at a table. She was just a few feet away from the dart game.
